TEAM TELLICO RETAINS THE CUP IN 2024

On October 11th & 12th, the teams from the Tellico Village MGA outlasted their counterparts from Rarity Bay 35-30 to win the Lake Tellico Challenge and retain the Tellico Cup trophy for the 2nd consecutive year and 5th time in the last 7 years.  Friday’s round at Toqua resulted in a 19-7 drubbing in the SCRAMBLE & MOD ALT SHOT matches.  The tournament shifted to Rarity Bay for the BEST BALL & SINGLES matches on Saturday.  Rarity made a valiant comeback effort on their home turf, but Team Tellico held on for the 5-point win.  Special shout out to the pairing of Toby & Larry Hunt for the Orange Tee team.  They were the only TV pairing to sweep all 5 points over 2 days!  GREAT JOB GUYS!!!  The Tellico Cup will remain displayed in the Toqua Pro Shop until October 2025, when we will take our best shot at going back-toback in the annual challenge match.
