2025 Lake Tellico Challenge Three-Peat!!!
On Friday, October 3rd, Team Tellico went to bed under the weight of a 9 ½-16 ½ deficit in the Lake Tellico Challenge. At least we were headed back home to Toqua for Day #2 on Saturday. Much like Team USA in the Ryder Cup, Tellico came charging back. Unlike Team USA, Tellico finished the rally to retain the Tellico Cup trophy for another year! The teams of Charles Roffers & Bruce Stanhope, Jeff McBride & Joe Rodi and Mark McMahan & Jim Dullea led the comeback going 3-0 on Saturday. The final tally 2025 renewal of this friendly rivalry was 33 ½ - 31 ½ in favor of Team Tellico. Congrats to all of the members of Team Tellico including captains Bill Rieger & David Boatright who enjoyed drinking from the victory cup!
Team Tellico has now won 6 of the last 7 years!
