Hole In One
The MGA is pleased to recognize and celebrate our members who record a Hole-In-One during play on any of the Tellico Village courses.
What Qualifies as a Valid "Ace"?In addition to "Aces" recorded during regular, competitive, or league play, the MGA follows USGA recommendations for what constitutes a valid hole-in-one:

The MGA covers the cost of both the gift card and a commemorative award. The award options are as follows:

What Qualifies as a Valid "Ace"?In addition to "Aces" recorded during regular, competitive, or league play, the MGA follows USGA recommendations for what constitutes a valid hole-in-one:
- Round Length: Must be made during a round of at least nine holes. (A hole-in-one made during a match is acceptable even if the match ends before the stipulated round is completed).
- Single Ball: The player must be playing only one ball. An ace made during a practice round while playing two or more balls is not acceptable.
- Witnessed: The feat must be attested by an acceptable witness.
- Course Conditions: If made using a temporary tee and/or putting green, the length of the hole at the time should be stated.
- Format: "Aces" made during scramble competitions are acceptable.
Commemorative Awards:
The MGA covers the cost of both the gift card and a commemorative award. The award options are as follows:
- For 2026 Winners: You may choose between a Commemorative Plaque or a Replica Course Flag.
- Starting in 2027: All winners will receive the Replica Course Flag as the standard commemorative award
